Approved Underground Contractors 

Requirements for Prospective Contractors

Diablo Water District's policy for contractors performing work on our water distribution system or any of our property is as follows:

  • Contractors must be licensed and approved by the District's Engineer. A Contractor Experience Summary Form must be completed and submitted for review. 
  • Insurance shall be provided as outlined in the Facilities Installation Agreement. Contractor is to provide certificates of insurance naming Diablo Water District and CDM Smith (District's Engineer) as additional insured parties in addition to any other requirements listed in the Agreement.
  • District work will be performed in accordance with the Engineering and Design Requirements (District Standards & Specs). Printed copies are available from the District for a fee.
