Diablo Water District is dedicated to providing a safe, reliable water supply by educating our community about PFAS—‘forever chemicals’ that don’t belong in your kitchen or your water.

PFAS are found in long-lasting man-made chemicals used in things like non-stick pans, waterproof clothes, and food packaging. PFAS are considered "forever chemicals" because they do not break down easily in the environment, leading to potential long-term contamination.
